The Board of Directors of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) awards the highest insignia of the Federation to Lorenzo Sanz and will honor with an artistic creation the memory of the victims of the coronavirus that will be placed in the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas. The family of Lorenzo Sanz will receive the recognition of the RFEF, which will pay tribute to the former president of Real Madrid ‘in memory’ with his gold and brilliant insignia.The Board of Directors of the RFEF, meeting today electronically, has ratified the announcement made by President Luis Rubiales in recent days to support the clubs in the face of the situation generated by COVID with the advance of cash of 4 million euros. This amount will help to pay the salaries to the players and the players with professional license. and their respective coaches from March 14, 2020 and during this exceptional period. Likewise, the Board of Directors has ratified the call for aid from the Quarry Program with Values of the 2018/2019 season to 1st Division, 2nd Division, 2nd Division B and 3rd Division clubs. It is a total of 12.8 million euros that, for the first time, is also shared between the Second Division B and the Third Division.These amounts range from a maximum of 40,000 euros for Second B clubs according to their salary mass; going through the maximum of 36,000 for futsal clubs; up to 10,000 maximums for each Third club, according to the established conditions. All this investment comes from the RFEF’s own funds.The granting of aid for the Third Division Clubs, which have participated in the Copa del Rey, from the sale of audiovisual rights for 1.1 million euros. Along with them, the aid for the Second Division B Clubs provided in the coordination agreement, which allows to allocate 4.9 million in the 2019/2020 season among those who participated in the Copa del Rey.On the other hand, it approves the first Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan, which will take effect in the period 2020-2024, is the result of 10 months of work with UEFA and the territorial federations and continues the RFEF professionalization process.
