Killbillies Host Scrimmage For Final Home Appearance

JOHN, B.C. – The North Peace Arena was abuzz with the sounds of rollerskates and referee whistles on Saturday evening, as the Fort St. John Killbillies took to the track for their final home appearance of the season.The Summer Scrimmage, as the event was called, saw the team split into squads that then battled it out: The Blackhearts vs. The White Walkers. In addition to players from Fort St. John, the two squads for the scrimmage were joined by players from across the Peace Region, including Chetwynd and Dawson Creek.Aided by jammer Boom Boom Bethy and pivot Jennacide, the Blackhearts took the win in the intersquad-plus-guests match by the score of 201-111 over the White Walkers.
