They were identified as Lorenzo Rincon, 24-years old, of Pasadena; Andrew Resendez, 27-years old, of Pasadena; and Mark Arreola, 36-years old, of Huntington Park.Pasadena Burglary Detective Sid Abraham developed investigative leads from a residential burglary that occurred in December 2018.Detective Abraham’s investigation led patrol officers to a motel in the 3800 block of E. Colorado Blvd in the County area of Pasadena.Officers saw Suspect Rincon exiting a parked car and run to a motel room where additional occupants, including Rincon, were detained, police said in a statement.Detectives responded to the motel and continued with their investigation.During the investigation, officers reportedly recovered losses including stolen mail and documents from victims of residential burglaries that occurred in Pasadena since December 2018. Detectives suspect personal paperwork stolen during the residential burglaries was used in at least two identity theft cases, according to police.Detectives said they are investigating the suspects’ involvement in over ten cases involving residential burglaries and identity theft.On Tuesday, January 15, 2019, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed eight counts of first-degree burglary against both Suspect Rincon and Suspect Resendez. The arraignment for both suspects was set for Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Suspect Resendez’ preliminary hearing has been set for January 30, 2019 and Suspect Rincon’s preliminary hearing has been set for February 5, 2019.Their bail has been set at $475,000. Suspect Arreola was arrested for receiving stolen property and released on a citation.
