The position willinvolve providing direct patient care during four half-day sessionsin the Johns Hopkins Chronic Fatigue Clinic each week. For thefirst three years, the remaining 60% of time will be protected foracademic work (research, administrative, and educationalactivities). Academic support includes access to a wide range ofcareer development programs and services, including 20 hours ofepidemiological and biostatistics research consultation serviceseach year. The candidate must be BC/BE in Pediatrics orMedicine-Pediatrics, and interested in working with adolescents andyoung adults with chronic health impairments that include myalgicencephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), orthostaticintolerance, and joint hypermobility spectrum disorders, includingEhlers-Danlos syndrome. The successful candidate will work with awell-established clinician investigator in the care of thisunder-served population of patients.
